Fortify Children’s Health (“Fortify”) is proud to announce that it has earned URAC accreditation in Clinical Integration. URAC is the independent leader in promoting health care quality by setting high standards for clinical practice, consumer protections, performance measurement, operations infrastructure and risk management. By achieving this status, Fortify Children’s Health has demonstrated its commitment to quality care, enhanced processes, patient safety and improved outcomes.
PRESS RELEASE: Fortify Children’s Health earns URAC accreditation in Clinical Integration

Fortify Children’s Health was selected as a Phase 1 Winner of the Promoting Pediatric Primary Prevention (P4) Challenge, sponsored by the HRSA Maternal and Child Health Bureau (MCHB). MCHB received more than 240 submissions from teams across the nation, including nearly 200 cities, 44 states, and Puerto Rico. They proposed a range of innovations to increase access to and utilization of well-child visits and/or immunizations in primary care settings. A panel of expert advisors and federal judges chose 50 Phase 1 Winners to receive a $10,000 cash prize and move forward to Phase 2 of the Challenge. Fortify’s winning project is focused on increasing adolescent well visit rates among teens living in poverty by leveraging the strength of our clinically integrated network and launching a peer-to-peer social media campaign.

Fortify Children’s Health and Anthem HealthKeepers Plus, Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield in Virginia’s Medicaid plan, have announced a new partnership to bring value-based health care to more than 25,000 of Anthem’s pediatric Medicaid members across the Commonwealth of Virginia.
